Washington, DC Pilot

You are probably reading this because you have been randomly selected for a 90-day pilot we are conducting on 100 households within the City of Alexandria with 64-gallon Toter-brand curbside bins to evaluate the Rascalater trash can lock as a means of reducing urban and suburban wildlife-related incidents.

  • Random distribution to participating Alexandria homeowners

  • Monitor wildlife-related trash bin disturbances before/after installation

  • Deliver a summarized evaluation report to the City

All you have to do is install the lock and report any wildlife activity during a 90-day period following the receipt of the lock.
